We are currently hiring general labour/machine operators for a successful, thriving food production facility in Mississauga. This position will be a good fit for someone who likes working in fast-paced, dynamic team environments.

Position: General Labour/Machine Operator

Pay: $18/hour for days
$ 0.50-afternoon shift premium
$1.00 night shift premium

Shift Times:

Days: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Afternoon : 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
Nights: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Location: Mississauga (Dixie and Derry is the nearest major intersection)

Advantages

*Straight shifts - no rotations
*Transit accessible
*$18 - $19/hour (depending on shift schedules)
*Overtime available
*Weekly pay
*4% vacation paid out weekly
*Fast paced environment - you will constantly be doing something new!

Responsibilities
Visual quality inspection of product
*Working on a production line
*Machine operation & daily basic preventative maintenance of the machines
*Lifting up to 50 lbs
*Work with hand and power tools, set ups and take down of packaging machines.
*Building skids (must be familiar with hand tools)
*50% Machine Operation and 50% General Labour

Qualifications
Minimum six month's experience as a machine operator
*Able to be flexible regarding shifts (occasional overtime/weekends)
*Must possess mechanical aptitude
*Takes initiative and can work independently
*Must be able to lift 50 lbs
*Must own safety shoes and goggles
