Hourly Rate of $26.50/hr from day one (1), and premiums of $0.75 (Aft) or $0.85 (Ngt).

Health coverage includes Life insurance, Prescription Drugs, Dental, Short Term Disability, and Long Term Disability coverage. (candidates would participate in the Company\xe2\x80\x99s Benefits Plan after 720 hours worked).

RSP: Company and employee matching contribution of 2% of their pay (candidates would be able to participate in the Pension Plan after probation - 720 hours worked).

2 weeks after one year of service and increasing to 3 weeks after three years of service

Overtime is available based on business needs at a time and a half rate or double time rate as applicable.

Guaranteed full time position with 40 hours a week.

Position will have a default start times; however, this position is intended to cover the following: vacation, short term, and planned absence.

What is this role?

Specific Duties (but not limited to):

Operate warehouse machinery (Ride-along Walkie, Reach Truck and Counterbalance)

Warehouse functions include: Picking, Receiving, Loading, Replenishment, etc.

Perform physical job demands outlined in ergonomic training

Following quality standards outlined in Food Quality training program

Ensure proper rotation of date code requirements

Safety first approach for all tasks including reporting damaged machinery and equipment

Working in a temperature-controlled environment with company provided personal protective equipment and refrigerated gear

Monitor and report inventory losses

Paid training for all job tasks and requirements

What you need to join our team:

The successful candidate must be able to successfully complete the certified Fork Truck/Lift Operator course

Candidate must have a sound work ethic.

Must have excellent written, oral and communication skills.

Candidates must work in a professional and timely manner.

Applicant must at all times comply with Health and Safety policies including personal protective equipment (PPE), Good Distribution Practices (GDP) Requirements.

Ability to operate a walkie or reach truck is an asset

Basic ability to communicate in English

Previous warehouse experience is an asset
