Responsibilities

Troubleshoot mechanical problems using diagnostic tools and techniques, including the use of an ohmmeter for electrical resistance testing when applicable.
Repair or replace faulty parts, ensuring all work adheres to safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
Document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections accurately in maintenance logs for future reference.
Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance without disrupting workflow or productivity.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery or upgrades to existing equipment.
Follow safety protocols diligently, promoting a safe work environment for yourself and colleagues.
Skills
Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently using diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter.
Knowledge of mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, and gearboxes.
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams clearly.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and report issues accurately.
Physical dexterity and stamina to perform manual tasks involving lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Certification or familiarity with electrical testing tools like an ohmmeter is preferred but not mandatory.
