Dilawri Group of Companies (BC Region) is currently looking to fill the position of Service Technician for one of its Luxury Dealerships.

Job Location: Vancouver, B.C.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs with accuracy and efficiency in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Inspect and diagnose the source of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Communicate with the Parts Department to secure required parts.
• Save and tag parts requested by customer or manufacturer.
• Examine the vehicle to determine the need for additional safety or service repairs.
• Notify Service Advisor immediately if further work is necessary, if work outlined is not needed, or repairs cannot be completed within the allotted timeframe.
• Document in detail the cause and corrective repairs performed.
• Perform wheel alignments and adjustments as required.
• Road-test vehicles to quality check work performed.
• Responsible for practical instruction and support for any assigned Apprentice or Technician.
• Complete web training and attend factory-sponsored training sessions.
• Maintain a neat and orderly workshop and workbay.
• Follow all company and manufacturer policies, directives and procedures.
• Comply with required health & safety regulations.
• Additional duties as requested by manager.

All successful applicants must possess the following qualities:

• Relative experience with Luxury Automotive brands.

• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Be extremely organized.
• Pay close attention to detail.
• Be self-motivated.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
