Lumber Yard Manager - McPhillips Branch

As a valuable member of our team, your duties will include:

Leading Yard Operations:

Organize efficient delivery and pickup schedules by effectively communicating with coworkers and customers.

Inventory Management:

Ensure orders and packages are prepared accurately for delivery, and merchandise is loaded/unloaded safely to prevent damage and optimize space.

Team Leadership & Development:

Supervise and manage the Yard team, focusing on developing employees' skills and fostering a positive, productive work environment.

Logistics Support:

Deliver orders or assist with deliveries when necessary, always adhering to safe job site procedures.

Receiving & Organization:

Ensure all receiving procedures are followed, including accurate paperwork and POS entries. Maintain proper and functional storage locations with clear signage for all merchandise.

The successful candidate will possess:

Proven leadership skills with an ability to inspire and build a positive team culture. A strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. The physical ability to repeatedly lift/carry over 75lbs. A proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. A valid Class 5 Drivers License is required. Previous experience is preferred, and knowledge of building materials is a valuable asset.
