Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our home care team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in private home care environments. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to with a pediatricpatient. The LPN will be responsible for administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and supporting overall patient well-being in accordance with healthcare regulations and instructions from parents

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive patient care in home care. Administer medications accurately following physicians and parents order. Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions regularly to identify any changes or concerns. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and mobility support. Document patient information accurately using documents the family provides Collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans. Perform suction, gtube feeds, trach care, handling ventilator Support Maintain a safe and clean environment adhering to infection control standards.

Qualifications

Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice. Prior experience in nursing home settings, hospital environments, or acute care is highly preferred. Experience pediatrics, or home health is advantageous. Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration Strong communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate patient-centered care. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments requiring attention to detail and critical thinking Child is 5 years old, none verbal, tracheostomy,dexcom and feeding tube

Pay: $52.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 6 per week
