Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, mechanical systems, and maintenance. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Candidates with dealership experience, welding skills, and familiarity with schematics will be highly valued. The Technician will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service by delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance services.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic assessments using various tools and schematics to identify issues with vehicles or equipment Conduct repairs and maintenance on automotive systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, and electrical components Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to execute repairs effectively Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting and operation of machinery or tools Assemble parts or components as needed for repairs or upgrades Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used for each service Assist in routine maintenance tasks to prevent future issues Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service orders Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and addressing client concerns professionally

Skills

Dealership experience is preferred but not required; relevant automotive repair background is essential Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for various repair tasks Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during maintenance procedures Experience with automotive assembly processes and component installation Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers Prior experience in vehicle diagnostics, electrical systems, or mechanical repairs is highly desirable Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
