Reporting to the Underground Manager, the Lowbed Truck Driver will play a key role in ensuring timely and secure delivery of equipment, supporting project schedules and overall operational efficiency.

How You'll Add Value



Actively contribute to the safety culture, promoting a safe and productive work environment Ensure safe and timely delivery of heavy equipment and materials to and from job sites Operate lowbed trailers with precision, including loading, unloading, and securing oversized loads Follow all transportation regulations and company safety protocols to prevent incidents Maintain equipment and complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to reduce downtime Communicate clearly with dispatch, site supervisors, and crew to coordinate haul schedules Adapt to changing site and traffic conditions while maintaining efficiency and professionalism Support project productivity by minimizing delays and maximizing haul capacity

What You Bring



3+ years of professional driving experience with at least 2 years operating lowbed trailers Valid Class 1 Driver's License with a Driver's Abstract showing no more than 6 demerits and no major infractions Proven ability to safely load, secure, and transport heavy equipment and oversized loads Strong understanding of transport regulations, weight restrictions, and permit requirements Skilled in performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment reliability Experience navigating off-road and construction sites with varying terrain and conditions Physically able to safely lift and carry 40 lbs regularly Willing to travel and work out of town for short, fixed-term periods, as needed
