Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lounge Manager to oversee the operations of our bar and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for the hospitality industry, and a comprehensive understanding of food service and beverage management. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing bar staff, maintaining inventory, and delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
• Supervise and train bar staff to ensure high standards of service and efficiency.
• Oversee daily bar operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness.
• Develop creative drink menus that align with current trends while ensuring quality and consistency.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and addressing any concerns or feedback.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food pairings and enhance the overall dining experience.
• Manage POS systems for accurate billing and tracking of sales.
• Conduct interviews and assist in hiring new staff members as needed.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in restaurant management or bar supervision is essential.
• Strong knowledge of food service operations, including cooking techniques and kitchen management.
• Familiarity with POS systems and their operation within a busy environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
• Experience in supervising staff, including training and performance management.
• Knowledge of food handling regulations and safety standards in a hospitality setting.
• Previous experience in hotels or similar establishments is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
