Job Description

This is a physical fast paced position for someone that loves to busy and works well independently or in a team. We are a BMW specialty shop looking for a lot attendant, customer shuttle driver, and clean service bays etc. Full BC drivers license with a clean record required. An individual that is confident and out going will be a great fit for our company. Basic automotive shop safety and knowledge is a plus.

Here is a list of duties you will be responsible for,

Lot Personnel Duties and Responsibilities.

Organize parking - as requested. Move cars out at beginning of day. Must drive manual and confidently*
Wash all cars to be serviced and park when finished - as required. Shuttle customers - as required. Greet customer and introduce yourself. Maintain reception and waiting area - once per day. Includes sweeping floors, wiping down counters and doors, garbage's and tidy washrooms. Maintain front lot - once per day. Remove any garbage and debris from driveways and road parking spots directly out front. Sweep when necessary. Weed walkway and driveway edges when necessary. Clear walkways and driveways of snow and ice, and salt when necessary. Maintain shop cleanliness - once per day. Remove garbage and cardboard. Stock gloves and rags and consumables as needed for each bay. Be aware of the level of oil drain tanks at all times. Drain as required if level is more than half. Sweep and mop shop area thoroughly as needed and at min - once per week. Wipe down cabinets, tool boxes and hoses as needed and at min - once per week. Spot clean bay area - as required. Clean Office, Lunch room and washrooms - once per week. Perform tire work - as required Assist technicians - as required. Complete consumable stock level list - once per week. Maintain technicians service carts- as required. Transmission, coolant and steering service machines need to be drained and filled, wiped down and ready for service as soon as possible after use. End of day shut down - Park cars inside that are staying. Shut off compressor and drain tank. Turn off lights and lock up.
