We're seeking a dedicated Loss Prevention Supervisor to play a vital role in safeguarding our assets and ensuring a safe shopping environment for our store patrons.

Key Responsibilities:

- Adhere to loss prevention policies and procedures tailored to retail environments

- Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV, to detect suspicious activities

- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies to address theft and security issues

- Conduct investigations into thefts or security breaches

- Train staff on loss prevention techniques and security protocols

- Analyze security data to identify patterns and improve preventive measures

- Ensure compliance with legal standards related to security and surveillance

- Lead crisis response efforts during security incidents

- Report to the Loss Prevention & Security Manager, providing regular updates and insights to inform strategic decisions

Qualifications:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in loss prevention, preferably in a retail environment

- Use of Force certification and training considered an asset.

- Hands-on experience in physical loss prevention, including detaining and apprehending shoplifters

- Strong knowledge of surveillance systems and CCTV operation

- Excellent investigative skills with the ability to analyze complex situations

- Effective communication skills for training staff and liaising with law enforcement

- Ability to develop strategic loss prevention initiatives

- Knowledge of legal standards related to surveillance and security

- Leadership skills to manage a team of security personnel

Requirements:

- Physically capable of responding to security incidents and detaining individuals

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions

- Strong problem-solving skills

-Valid Manitoba Security Licence

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.50-$24.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
