As we continue to grow and expand; we are hiring a Loss Prevention Operator for our Home Office team in Ottawa. The successful Loss Prevention associate will be an individual seeking a challenging and interesting career.

Loss Prevention Operator\xe2\x80\x8b, Job Highlights:

• Assist in the execution of loss prevention activities and programs;
• Monitor those entering and exiting the Home Office in accordance with requirements;
• Responsible to maintain logs including: Access Cards, Visitor Badges, Keys, & Security Patrols etc.
• Observe and supervise security camera systems and Alarm Systems.
• Investigate any asset loss, property damage or other security related incidents at the Home Office
• Provide direct support to the Loss Prevention Team and Facility Operations;
• Provide assistance to Stores as needed;
• Complete designated tasks as directed by manager.

Loss Prevention Operator\xe2\x80\x8b, Job Requirements:

• Completion of High School is required; Diploma in Law Enforcement and/or Police Foundations would be considered a strong asset;
• Ontario Security Guard License;
• Excellent communication and organizational skills;
• Bilingualism is an asset;
• First Aid is an asset
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations calmly and professionally;
• Strong attention to detail and have strong analytical and problems solving skills;
• Self-motivated; ability to work without direct supervision;
• Intermediate PC skills, within a Windows environment;
• Ability to work under strict confidentially, high ethical standards, combined with a common sense approach;
• Loss prevention experience \xe2\x80\x93 either through education or work experience;

Loss Prevention Operator Schedule:

This is an overnight position that requires working On Site, and a 12 hour shifts. The schedule will alternate weekly: 7:00pm to 7:00am Sunday-Tuesday for Week 1, and 7:00pm-7:00am Saturday-Tuesday for Week 2. Overtime shifts are also available.
