Loss Prevention Agent

Job Description
We're looking for a Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be an experienced, motivated and detail-oriented professional who is proficient in all areas of loss prevention. Responsibilities include using surveillance methods and reporting systems to monitor and combat theft, fraud, vandalism and other crimes that can lead to losses in the retail environment.Requirements:
- Alberta Basic Security Training
- Method of travel
- Willing to learn new skills and applying them
- Perform undercover surveillance to deter and prevent theft of merchandise, cash, and other property.
- Patrol areas to search for suspicious or unlawful behavior.
- Inspect premises and facilities to ensure safety and security.
- Write reports of observations, daily activities, etc.
- Prepare reports for higher-level management.
- Tracking stolen merchandise by keeping records of stolen items and assigning case numbers.
- This is a hands-on environment, you will be expected to make arrests in accordance with 494 of the Criminal Code of Canada.
- Write statements for the police and give evidence.
- French not required
- 8 hour shift
Part-time hours: 8-40 per weekSalary: $17.00-$23.00 per hourAdditional pay:
