Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. This role involves transporting goods efficiently and safely across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service. Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods between warehouses, distribution centers, and customer locations Load and unload cargo using forklifts or manual handling techniques, ensuring proper securing of loads Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with transportation regulations Assist with moving inventory within warehouses using appropriate equipment such as forklifts Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with company policies Uphold safety standards at all times, including heavy lifting protocols and adherence to traffic laws

Experience

Prior experience in commercial driving, warehouse operations, or logistics is preferred Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with clients during deliveries Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers Proven ability to handle moving tasks, including loading/unloading cargo and warehouse organization Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required; clean driving record preferred
