The ideal candidate will have experience in canada public school and could inspire students to develop their language skills, foster a love for literature, and enhance their critical thinking abilities. Responsibilities

Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles. Teach English language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation. Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback to support improvement. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional strategies and share best practices. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student performance and classroom activities. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and teaching methodologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field; teaching certification preferred. Strong knowledge of English language arts curriculum and instructional strategies. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that respects diverse backgrounds and perspectives. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Experience in teaching or tutoring English is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for teaching is essential.
