is currently looking for an

English

Teacher (

ELA not ESL

) to join our team. The team is based in and operates in Toronto. This is the perfect opportunity to inspire students through engaging lessons and hands-on learning experiences. Ideal candidates will have a full-time ELA or teaching job during the day, or they will be in teacher's college or in an education related field. Because this is an in person teaching position, teachers must be able to reliably commute to our location.

Exploring Scholar

is a rapidly growing provider of education services focusing on K-12 academic enrichment programs. We pride ourselves on creating a supportive environment for students. Qualifications:

Teaching experiences in English Literature/ ELA in a North American curriculum are required.

Confidence teaching ELA demonstrated during the selection process. Proficient in online teaching tools.

Expected Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality lessons to small classes of students or through private tutoring. Prepare lessons within guidelines. Mark homework and assessments. Help promote students' interests in the subject. Our classes are in person, with teachers in classes a minimum of 4 hours per week.

Compensation

: Compensation is calculated by teaching hours and prior experience.
