Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and professional

Long-Haul Truck Driver

to join our transportation team for our

Kitchener to California

route. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the

safe, timely, and efficient

movement of freight across long distances while maintaining full compliance with all safety and cross-border regulations. This role offers consistent miles, competitive

Duties

Safely operate commercial trucks on long-distance routes in accordance with transportation laws and company safety policies Perform

pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip

inspections to ensure equipment safety and reliability Work in a

team-driving environment

to meet delivery timelines and maintain continuous movement Ensure freight is properly secured and handled throughout the trip Maintain accurate documentation including logbooks, mileage reports, border paperwork, and delivery records Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding schedules, delays, and any issues encountered during transit Assist with basic vehicle troubleshooting or minor adjustments when necessary Uphold all company policies regarding safety, compliance, and cross-border procedures

Qualifications

Minimum

1 year of verifiable long-haul driving experience

Valid commercial driving qualifications with a

clean driver's abstract

Valid CVOR

in good standing Ability and eligibility to

cross the U.S. border

Experience working in a

team-driving setup

(required) Strong understanding of safety procedures, hours-of-service rules, and cross-border requirements Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills Ability to conduct thorough vehicle inspections and manage required paperwork
