Responsibilities

Operate long haul trucks safely and efficiently over extended distances. Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays. Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling of goods. Follow company policies for safety and compliance with DOT regulations. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.

Qualifications

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required. Proven experience as a truck driver with a clean driving record. Strong knowledge of long haul trucking regulations and practices. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles preferred. Ability to cross border Experience with refrigerated trailers or flatbed trucks is a plus. Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
