CPE Les Frimousses du CIUSSS du Centre Ouest is an 80-place daycare center located at the Jewish Hospital in Montreal. It serves employees of CIUSSS du Centre Ouest as well as the community. We are a bilingual daycare center that values the community and offers a collaborative, engaging environment that supports professional development. We are relatively new and our vision is to build a CPE based on the latest knowledge in child development and learning. We are passionate and motivated, and are looking for an educator who feels as strongly about early childhood education as we do. We are close to two metro stations and there's paid parking on site. We're close to parks, have a large courtyard and new premises. We are currently looking for a qualified educator for replacement with a possibility of extension or permanent position.

Under the responsibility of management, the educator:

Implements the educational program involving activities aimed at the overall development of the children for whom he/she is responsible.

Ensures the health, safety and well-being of the children and performs various tasks related to his/her duties.

Will also be required to provide relevant observations to the parents of the children he or she sees on a daily basis.

Responds to needs and adapts interventions according to context

Adopts a democratic approach

Applies the pedagogical intervention process to support active learning

Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) in Early Childhood Education or Child Care Education or equivalent (an asset)

Valid first aid course in compliance with Ministry requirements

Valid attestation of absence of legal impediment

Ability to communicate in French and English is preferred.

Salary follows the Ministry scale
