Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage freight effectively. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all transportation regulations.

Duties

Operate trucks and other commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of materials. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road. Assist in minor automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability. Operate forklifts and heavy equipment when necessary for loading and unloading operations.

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License). Familiarity with automotive repair is a plus, providing an advantage in maintaining vehicle performance. Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment is desirable for efficient loading and unloading processes. Knowledge of freight handling procedures and regulations is essential for ensuring compliance during transport. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively while on the road.

Pay: $22.90-$24.69 per hour
