We are seeking a reliable and experienced Long Haul Driver to join our transportation team for CANADA-USA runs This role involves operating heavy-duty trucks over long distances to deliver freight efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, knowledge of freight handling, and the ability to operate heavy equipment as needed. Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial trucks over long-distance routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Transport freight efficiently from origin to destination, ensuring timely deliveries Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in compliance with company policies Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting if required during trips Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules or route changes Follow safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling

Qualifications

Must have US visa Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Experience in commercial driving, preferably with long-haul routes Knowledge of freight handling procedures and heavy equipment operation such as forklifts Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting on trucks or related equipment Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards for transportation Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently Physical stamina for long hours of driving and loading/unloading tasks Prior experience with freight logistics is a plus but not mandatory

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $32.00-$34.12 per hour
