We are seeking a dependable and experienced Long Haul Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves operating commercial vehicles over long distances to deliver freight efficiently and safely. Duties

Safely operate large commercial trucks over long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as necessary Inspect vehicles regularly for maintenance needs and perform basic automotive repairs or coordinate repairs with maintenance teams Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and mileage logs Assist with securing freight to prevent damage during transit Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle at all times

Experience

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Prior experience in freight transportation or long-haul trucking preferred Familiarity with forklift operation, heavy equipment, and automotive repair is a plus Knowledge of safety protocols related to freight handling and heavy equipment operation Ability to operate and troubleshoot heavy machinery when necessary Strong navigation skills and familiarity with GPS systems for route planning

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $2,000.00 per week

Work Location: On the road
