Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Long Haul flatbed Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight over long distances and cross border, ensuring timely and safe delivery while adhering to all regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage long hours on the road.

Responsibilities

Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across long distances cross border, ensuring timely deliveries. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, rest periods, and cargo information as required by law. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Handle loading and unloading of freight, utilizing forklifts or other heavy equipment as necessary. Ensure proper securing of cargo to prevent damage during transit. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a safe driving record.

Skills

Proficiency in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License). Experience with freight transportation and logistics management. Ability to operate forklifts and heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Basic knowledge of automotive repair for minor vehicle maintenance issues. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Ability to manage time effectively, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to regulations.

Pay: $6,313.00-$7,572.00 per month
