Summary

We are seeking a Long Haul Driver to join our dedicated team at HAP Transportation Group Ltd in Delta, British Columbia. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring timely and safe deliveries across long distances, contributing significantly to our mission of providing exceptional transportation services.

Responsibilities

Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently over long distances. Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to all safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance. Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery status and any issues. Handle freight loading and unloading as required. Adhere to company policies and procedures for safe driving practices. Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients.

Qualifications

Valid Class 1 (or equivalent) commercial driver's license. Ability to operate heavy-duty trucks and equipment safely. Good communication skills and ability to work independently. Familiarity with freight handling procedures is preferred.
