Responsibilities
Operate trucks safely over long distances to transport freight
Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to all traffic regulations
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles
Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel use, and delivery logs
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding routes and schedules
Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling
Manage routes efficiently to optimize delivery times
Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
Valid usa visa
Proven experience as a long haul driver or similar role
Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices
Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and tractor-trailers
Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Familiarity with load & unload procedures.
