We are seeking a reliable and experienced Long Haul Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves operating heavy-duty trucks over long distances to ensure timely delivery of freight across various locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism, with the ability to handle the physical demands of the job and operate various types of equipment.

Duties
Safely operate commercial trucks for long-distance freight transportation, adhering to all federal and state regulations.
Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company standards.
Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other required records.
Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transit.
Assist with warehouse operations including freight movement and inventory management as required.
Skills
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and other loading machinery.
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols for long-haul transportation.
Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues on the road.
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various environments.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
