We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of freight. Candidates with experience in forklift operation, heavy equipment, and automotive repair will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Operate commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of goods. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and cargo information. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and potential issues. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Assist in the operation of forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed. Perform minor automotive repairs and maintenance on vehicles when necessary.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record. Familiarity with freight handling procedures and regulations. Experience operating forklifts or heavy equipment is preferred. Basic knowledge of automotive repair is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent time management skills and reliability in meeting delivery deadlines.
