We are seeking a reliable and experienced Long Haul Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves operating heavy-duty vehicles over long distances to ensure timely delivery of freight across various regions. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, knowledge of freight handling, and the ability to operate heavy equipment safely. Duties

Safely operate commercial trucks over long-distance routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns Maintain accurate records of mileage, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance logs Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transit Assist with minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting to ensure vehicle readiness for long hauls Follow company policies on safety procedures, hours of service, and cargo securement protocols

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Experience in commercial driving, especially long-haul routes preferred Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues during trips Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively on extended routes Must pass background checks and drug screening as part of the hiring process
