Position Summary:



The Logistics & Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily outbound logistics by scheduling and booking shipments, preparing orders for dispatch, and managing warehouse inventory space. This role ensures timely fulfillment of customer orders while maintaining organized and efficient use of warehouse resources.

Key Responsibilities:



Shipping & Logistics Coordination:

Schedule and book all outbound shipments with third-party carriers, freight companies, or internal fleet. Generate shipping documentation, including packing slips, bills of lading, and shipping labels. Monitor carrier performance and ensure on-time pickup and delivery of goods. Communicate shipment details to internal teams and external customers as needed.
Order Preparation:

Pick, pack, and stage customer orders accurately based on packing slips and order details. Ensure all outbound shipments meet company quality and packaging standards. Coordinate with the warehouse team to meet daily and weekly shipping targets.
Inventory & Space Management:

Track inventory levels to ensure stock availability and proper order fulfillment. Manage warehouse space to ensure efficient storage, minimize congestion, and optimize product flow. Support periodic cycle counts and full inventory audits; investigate and resolve discrepancies. Work closely with receiving and inventory control staff to maintain stock accuracy.
Warehouse Organization & Safety:

Ensure warehouse areas are clean, safe, and well-organized. Follow and enforce company safety procedures and warehouse best practices. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks (if certified).

Qualifications:



5+ years of experience in a distribution, warehouse, or logistics coordination role. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), shipping software, and ERP platforms. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders and inventory. Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to become certified).
