Permanent position




The Logistics Systems Expert reports to the Director, Operational Efficiency. Their initial mandate will be to actively participate in the integration of new logistics systems (ERP, WMS, TMS, etc.) in collaboration with IT and operational teams. Over time, they will play a strategic role within the Centre of Excellence (COE), ensuring the sustainability, standardization, and continuous innovation of logistics practices in a digital transformation context.

Responsibilities



Systems Integration



Participate in the deployment, configuration, and testing of logistics solutions. Map existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements. Define and document processes to support consistent adoption across the organization. Provide training and support to internal users during system transitions.

Governance & Continuous Improvement



Ensure maintenance, monitoring, optimization, and evolution of logistics systems within the COE. Implement initiatives to enhance efficiency, resilience, and sustainability of the supply chain. Work closely with vendors and partners to ensure the quality and reliability of implemented solutions. Produce performance reports and provide strategic recommendations to management. Stay ahead of industry trends and propose innovative solutions to keep the company at the forefront.

Strategic Role within the COE



Serve as a key contributor to the digital transformation of logistics. Ensure the long-term sustainability of systems and the dissemination of best practices. Act as an internal reference for future projects and system enhancements. Support global process standardization and alignment with business strategy. Participate in technology watch and industry trend analysis to maintain innovation leadership.


Qualifications

Requirements



Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role DEP in Operations Management or Transportation Logistics (equivalent experience will also be considered) Strong organizational skills focused on efficiency and productivity Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions to maximize performance Innovative mindset with strong knowledge of operational excellence best practices in logistics Excellent verbal and written communication skills Advanced knowledge and experience with ERP systems (inventory management), WMS, TMS, and strong proficiency with MS Office Availability to travel up to 50% of the time during the digital transformation project phase

Required Skills



Technical expertise: mastery of logistics systems (ERP, OMS, WMS, TMS), IT integration, and data management Analytical skills: ability to analyze complex processes and propose innovative solutions Project management: experience implementing systems, coordinating cross-functional teams, and meeting timelines and budgets Leadership & communication: ability to influence, train, and support teams through change Strategic mindset: deep understanding of supply chain challenges and alignment of systems with business objectives Continuous improvement culture: commitment to standardization, innovation, and sustainable performance

Assets:

experience in digital transformation, knowledge of industry best practices, experience with Manhattan WMS.
