Job Summary:

Pacific West Systems Supply is seeking a full-time

Logistics Specialist (Shipper)

to support day-to-day planning and coordination of material deliveries at our Langley branch. This role is focused on logistics, digital tools, and delivery planning and scheduling. The successful candidate will work closely with drivers, crews, and customers to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and schedule daily deliveries and routes for multiple crews. Coordinate delivery times and logistics with customers. Manage and update DQT (Delivery Quality Tracking) systems. Oversee and maintain SiteDocs compliance and documentation. Monitor and adjust delivery schedules in real time to optimize efficiency. Communicate daily plans and updates to warehouse and delivery staff. Handle delivery changes and customer requests with professionalism. Ensure timely and accurate shipping documentation and internal records. Collaborate with sales and operations teams to align shipping priorities.

Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in logistics coordination, shipping, or dispatching. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple schedules. Proficient with digital tools and logistics software (e.g., DQT, SiteDocs, Excel). Effective communication skills with internal teams and external customers. Calm and solution-oriented under pressure. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment. Familiarity with construction materials or the supply chain industry is an asset.
