SignalChem is now expanding its capabilities and creating multiple new positions.

SignalChem Biotech Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Logistics Specialitst to join our growing team and gain invaluable experience in an innovative, fast-paced environment. This is an exciting opportunity to support key business operations and contribute to the company's continued success.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate the re-stocking of products to ensure inventory is sufficient to fill orders and requests from the sales department. Plan, coordinate, execute, and track shipment of products according to customer requirements and product specifications. Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules and shipping-related issues. Provide timely service with minimal supervision and work effectively during high-volume periods. Appropriately handle products depending on their handling and storage requirements to ensure product quality is not compromised. Communicate with suppliers to negotiate pricing and supply chain needs. Collaborate with the manufacturing, quality control, and sales teams to resolve product issues. Prepare and present reports to senior management.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in biological science or another related field with at least one (1) year of wet lab experience is an asset. Proficiency in pipetting and basic laboratory techniques. Proficient in MS Office. Capable of working in a fast-paced environment independently and as part of a team. Excellent organization and time management skills showing close attention to detail. Effective verbal and written communication. Able to lift 20 kg package and willing to handle -80C test tubes for long periods.
This is a part-time position (3 days per week) with potential for full-time based on business needs and performance.
