Day Shift, Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

About the position:

• Matching drivers, trucks and trailers to orders based on load requirements and qualifications while optimizing fleet resources and ensuring proper utilization
• Assigning work based on Hours of Service, Driver Schedules, Equipment Needs, Routing,
• Arranging for equipment to be available for fleet maintenance
• Ensuring all load special instructions are communicated effectively to relevant drivers and/or personnel
• Communicating with drivers on any deviations with planned loads
• Communicating schedule requests to operations supervisor
• Coordinating and communicating changes to planned orders and update system as required
• Taking customer orders by phone, email and fax and enter orders to TMW system and provide confirmation of order to the customer
• Managing product levels and confirm inventory levels utilizing in house software system, identifying any conflicting information for review.
• Prepare border crossing documentation, communicating with brokers and customers to ensure loads are cleared prior to driver crossing the border.
• Using E-Manifest and Border Connect programs for shipment entries that are crossing a border.
• Providing ETA as required and provide updated information to customers when changing plans
• Administering other duties as required

What you bring:

• Previous demonstrated experience in forecasting, manpower allocation and scheduling proficiencies, must be able to plan and foresee potential issues, flexible with frequent changes in customer needs.
• Experience with windows-based programs is required; must be computer literate and savvy
• High level of Customer Service and Communication skills; both verbally and written
• Must have strong organizational, interpersonal as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, requiring initiative and ambition
