Job Description


Are you passionate about the world of art and skilled in the intricate process of safely transporting fine artworks across the globe? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fine Art Logistics Specialist to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the safe and seamless transportation of valuable artworks to international destinations.

Requirements:

  • Coordinate and execute the logistical aspects of fine art shipments, including domestic and international transportation, customs documentation, and insurance.
  • Ensure compliance with international regulations and standards governing the transportation of fine art.
  • Collaborate with artists, gallery owners, curators, and clients to develop tailored shipping plans that meet their unique needs.
  • Oversee and liaison with our team to ensure the appropriate packing, crating, and handling of shipments to guarantee their safe arrival at their destination.
  • Provide accurate cost estimates for art shipping services and negotiate contracts with vendors, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
  • Maintain meticulous records and tracking of artworks throughout the shipping process.
  • Familiar with CERS and CARM.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Fine Arts, Art History, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in logistics with a focus on international shipping, experience in fine art or comparable.
  • Familiarity with customs regulations, import/export requirements, CARM, CERS, and shipping documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to liaise with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges during the shipping process.
  • Establish proficiency in using our in-house software for tracking and communication.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and handle time-sensitive shipments.

  • G class license.
