Logistics Scheduler
Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
Communicate with Logistics and Operations, design, monitor and adjust daily railcar loading schedule
Communicate with CN to arrange train inspections, confirm train spot/pull plan
Release unit trains and railcars, including issue BOL, send out release notification and customer BOL report
Schedule volumes from producers. Order, confirm and adjust daily volume/loads
Monitor Yard Management, make sure railcar arrival and departure data are accurate; railcar inspections are completed prior to the release
Fleet Management, including fleet change, storage-in/out change
Bad order car management, including BO notification, schedule MUR, paperwork, and invoicing
Product transfer tickets approval
Help LAB to organize tank alternating
Oil sample management, including package, label, truck waybill, paperwork, and invoicing
Other tasks that are required by Operation, Maintenance and Logistics
PO Management:
Request quotes Create requisitions Process POs Receive POs Inventory management
HSE Support
Safety meetings & Communication Incident & Emergency response management Corrective Action & Compliance oversight Training coordination Inspection & Audit Support Program & Document Management HSE administrative support
General Admin:
Order supplies Document filing Manage emails, letters, packages, phone calls Invoice reconciliation Expense reports Manage office supply inventory Clean working area
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
