The Logistics Logistics process specialist as the expert on inventory systems and processes, ensuring their efficient and effective use. This role involves training staff, troubleshooting system issues, supporting various logistics functions, including covering for the Site Material Manager and Senior Manager of Material Management as needed, and continuously improving material management functions. The Super User also supports site startups, builds KPI dashboards, and manages complex system transactions. He acts has the Senior Manager right hand and back up.


What You Will Do



Inventory System Expertise

: Serve as the go-to expert for the inventory management system, ensuring optimal use and functionality.

Process Expertise:

Be the process expert for the department, ensuring best practices in material management.

Training:

Train employees on the inventory system and processes, ensuring they are proficient and understand best practices.

Troubleshooting:

Identify and resolve issues within the inventory system and processes to maintain seamless operations.

Continuous Improvement:

Drive continuous improvement of material management functions and oversee their deployment across the department.

Role Coverage:

Temporarily cover for the Site Material Manager and Senior Manager, Material Management during their absence.

Site Start-Up Support:

Assist in the setup and implementation of logistics operations during site startups.

KPI Dashboards:

Develop and maintain KPI dashboards to monitor and report on logistics performance metrics.

Complex Transactions:

Manage and oversee more complex system transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Support and Coordination:

Provide support and coordination for logistics activities, ensuring alignment with company goals and project timelines.

This role could be for you if you have





Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, information systems, or a related field or a combination of education and relevant experience. Certifications in relevant logistics or inventory management systems are an asset. Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, inventory management, or a related role. Proven expertise in using and managing inventory management systems. Experience in training and supporting staff on logistics platforms. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Experience in driving and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Ability to develop and maintain KPI dashboards. Experience in managing complex system transactions. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
