What to Expect:



The

Operations Analyst

will be reporting to the Senior manager of Commercial Excellence and Technology. This position responsible for leading the implementation of process improvements across the Operations for Nestle Health and Sciences in Canada. Scope Finished Goods Warehouse for the VMHS. Position has direct accountability for project management, process optimization, streamlining information exchange and driving change management within Lean culture.





A day in the life of an Operations Analyst:



Oversee the implementation of technology tools, such as digital dashboards, within the Nestle Supply Chain and with 3PL partners. Ensure successful project delivery by facilitating knowledge transfer and enhancing team capabilities to adopt new processes and technologies. Optimize processes within operations to extract data from operational systems and convert it into actionable insights. Work closely with vendors to assess performance metrics and identify areas for improvement in supply chain processes. Analyse and optimize relationships with third-party logistics providers to enhance service levels and reduce costs. Conduct comprehensive end-to-end supply chain analyses to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for cost savings. Implement lean methodologies to streamline processes, eliminate waste, and improve overall operational efficiency. Utilize data analysis to pinpoint specific areas where operational improvements can lead to significant savings. Monitor and report on savings achieved through optimization initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain. Process ownership of Operational Master Plan (OMP) and operational reviews (MOR, WOR, DOR) Lead and support continuous improvement projects with all Third-Party Service Providers and Team to drive to efficiencies in everyday execution. Operations and Inventory Control best practices developed and shared. New / improved processes developed, implemented, and documented (improving team effectiveness) Coach and develop a Culture of Learning and Continuous Improvement to Warehousing and Inventory Control Team and Third-Party Operational Teams.

Role Requirements



At least 3 years relevant and successful experience at market/business level in each of the following: Warehouse Management or Master Data Understanding
Relevant operational experience at business level, in one or more of the following areas is required: Customer Service, Demand & Supply Planning, Transportation & Distribution Advanced data analysis skills using Microsoft Excel and Power BI. Strong understanding of SAP and other ERP systems. Capacity to quickly adopt different systems to extract transactional data and turn it into insights. Understanding of audit processes
