Job Description

Since 2000, Altima Cabinet Works Ltd. has been a locally owned and operated custom cabinet manufacturer located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We provide quality cabinetry and millwork to a wide range of clients and customers both locally, across Canada and the United States.

We are looking for a

Logistics Manager

to manage the production timelines, installation and delivery schedules, and client communication for our projects. This role requires coordinating between

production, clients, and installers

to ensure projects are completed on time and to customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong scheduling, project coordination, and communication skills to manage multiple projects efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:



Scheduling & Project Coordination



Develop and manage

installation and delivery schedules

based on customer orders and manufacturing timelines. Coordinate with

production team

to track order progress and anticipate delays. Schedule installations with clients and ensure installers are assigned efficiently. Adjust schedules proactively in response to production issues, weather conditions, or client requests.

Client Communication & Customer Service



Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding

delivery timelines, installation appointments, and project updates

. Provide proactive updates and quickly address any scheduling conflicts or changes. Ensure customer expectations align with production and installation capabilities.

Production Coordination



Work closely with

manufacturing team

to confirm lead times and prioritize urgent projects. Address production delays and adjust schedules accordingly while keeping all stakeholders informed.

Process Optimization & Reporting



Maintain accurate records of production progress, delivery schedules, and installation dates. Use scheduling software or ERP systems to streamline workflow and improve efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:



Experience in

scheduling, production coordination, or project management

(preferably in cabinetry, construction, or manufacturing). Strong organizational and

time-management skills

to handle multiple projects. Excellent communication skills to interact with

clients, production team, and installers

. Proficiency in scheduling software, ERP systems, or project management tools. Problem-solving skills to manage last-minute changes and keep projects on track.

Preferred Experience & Certifications:



Experience in

kitchen cabinetry, millwork, or home improvement industries

. Knowledge of

production lead times, material logistics, and installation processes

. Project Management or Supply Chain certifications (PMP, CSCP) are a plus.

Condition of Employment



- Possess a valid Class 5 Driver's License, with access to a reliable vehicle (as the office location is not on a bus route)

-This is not a remote position

Pay: $27.00-$36.00 per hour
