Reports to: Sr. Manager, Logistics



Sundays Company is a direct-to-consumer, online-first furniture brand based in Vancouver, BC. We're a young company with big plans--and we're looking for a Logistics Manager who thrives on operational precision and exceptional customer experience. This role leads our fulfillment and delivery operations, ensuring every customer order ships on time, from the right warehouse, and within the promised delivery window. You'll oversee the team responsible for day-to-day logistics execution, monitoring reports, auditing systems, managing returns, and leading escalations to deliver a seamless experience from shipment to pickup.

Key Responsibilities




Order Fulfillment & Delivery Performance




Lead the logistics operations team to ensure all customer orders are fulfilled and delivered on time with excellent service. Monitor and maintain daily and weekly order reports to ensure fulfillment from the correct warehouse and adherence to customer delivery promise windows. Audit system integrations (Shopify, SAP, WMS) to identify and resolve any order, tracking, or data failures that could impact delivery timelines. Investigate and resolve exceptions or delays promptly, working with internal teams and carriers to ensure fast resolution.

Returns & Reverse Logistics




Oversee the returns process to ensure items are picked up from customers on time and processed accurately. Partner with Customer Care and warehouse teams to maintain a seamless returns experience. Track and report on return and replacement trends; identify root causes and recommend process improvements.

Escalation Management




Act as the primary lead for logistics-related customer escalations, collaborating with Customer Care, Retail, and Operations to resolve issues quickly and within SLA. Coordinate root cause analysis on recurring issues and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence. Maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and visibility on critical escalations.

Team Leadership & Accountability




Supervise, coach, and develop the logistics team to ensure consistent execution of daily tasks and adherence to SOPs. Monitor workloads and ensure balanced coverage across forward and reverse logistics. Conduct regular audits of team performance, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and accountability.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement




Build and maintain reporting dashboards for fulfillment, delivery performance, and returns. Track KPIs such as on-time delivery rate, fulfillment accuracy, and return cycle time. Identify and drive process improvements through better system use (SAP, Excel, or automation tools). Collaborate with the Sr. Manager, Logistics on improvement initiatives and escalations involving carrier or 3PL performance.

Qualifications




Minimum 3 years of progressive leadership experience in logistics, fulfillment, or supply chain operations. Strong analytical and reporting skills with proficiency in SAP (Business One preferred) and Excel. Hands-on experience in order management, fulfillment execution, and reverse logistics. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to lead teams and maintain high accuracy under tight timelines. Experience in e-commerce or multi-warehouse operations preferred. Familiarity with Shopify, Freshdesk, or similar systems is an asset. Ability to work independently and manage priorities across multiple stakeholders.

Salary range for this role is $80,000 - $95,000 per year based on experience.
