Since 2011 the company has been steadily growing and now calls a beautiful former 1930's Art Deco public works building, affectionately known as 'The Destructor', home. About The Role:



This role, reporting to the VP Operations, is a key function within our facility and can be broken down into these key responsibilities.

Manage performance and motivate logistics team members Oversee all shipping & receiving from JCBC facilities Manage Distribution across various channels Manage all systems and processes related to inventory and logistics

Key Job Responsibilities



Lead and manage a lean and nimble logistics team across two facilities. Monitor and report on key KPIs, ensuring performance targets are met. Collaborate with the production team to ensure logistics support is aligned for optimal output, including timely inbound and outbound movement of packaging materials and finished goods. Partner with the Head Driver to oversee fleet management, ensuring vehicles are well-maintained and efficiently scheduled. Design, implement, and oversee efficient shipping and receiving processes. Continuously identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements to streamline logistics operations. Maintain accuracy of the brewery's inventory system, ensuring real-time updates for inventory levels and product availability. Ensure full compliance with food and beverage transport regulations, including alcohol distribution laws, HACCP protocols, and workplace health and safety standards. Utilize ERP systems to manage inventory tracking, and maintain accurate shipping and receiving records. Oversee all packaging and finished goods inventory at both the brewery and warehouse; work directly with the VP of Production to design and implement a comprehensive inventory organization plan. Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and other external partners. Manage a team of delivery drivers, coordinating daily delivery routes for home delivery, licensed venues, LCBO, and The Beer Store locations.

Qualifications



Experience working in logistics and supply chain management is required. Experience working in beverage and food is highly valued Enjoys working in a fast paced environment where the work is always changing and your ability to adapt is highly dependent on the success of this role Is highly efficient in independently managing their workload and prioritising what needs to be done while respecting deadlines. Expert in leveraging spreadsheets to drive data-informed decisions through critical and analytical thinking Understanding cross border alcohol and food shipping laws, safety and hygiene standards Familiar with working with ERP and warehouse management systems. Can operate a forklift
