ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Due to year over year growth and client demand, our client is looking to add Warehouse & Logistics Manager. This role means you will have a seat at the table. You will be a part of the management team where you will be a part of the decision-making of the future of the company. ABOUT THE POSITION

Reporting to the Plant Manager and supervising over a team of skilled tradesmen, the Warehouse & Logistics Manager is responsible for but not limited to:

  • Working closely with the Supply Chain Team: logistics, warehouse, customer service
  • Support collaboration and teamwork of employees
  • Implementing 5S and ensuring the cleanliness of the warehouse
  • Ensure a safe work environment by working with audit teams
  • Prepare and track budget for the department
  • Using CTG continuous improvement tools and developing recommendations for corrective action based on customer complaints
  • The management of the inventory, equipment and warehouse layout for efficient use of space
THE REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
  • 5-10 years of manufacturing, logistics, warehousing and customer service
  • Strong communication skills
  • 3-5 years of experience in a unionized environment
  • Kaizen, Lean and 5S experience
  • SAP experience (preferred)
COMPENSATION
  • $100,000 per annum
