The Coffee Mine Project ("Coffee") is a proposed hard-rock gold mine. Coffee will be a premier, high-grade, open pit heap leach gold mine project, built to world class standards, located in Canada\xe2\x80\x99s Yukon Territory. We see ourselves in a long-term relationship with our First Nation Partners and the Yukon Territory. Facilities & Logistics Officer The Facilities & Logistics Officer will be responsible for purchasing, receiving and shipping materials and supplies to and from Whitehorse and Coffee Project site as requested by the Coffee team. In addition, the Facilities & Logistics Officer will be responsible for purchasing and stocking miscellaneous office supplies and consumables as well as overseeing all external storage facilities. Additional duties will include work order and PO/PR data entry. The expected duration of this temporary position is March through to December but could vary based on operational requirements. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Liaise with site team, air carrier and assay preparatory lab(s) to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials
  • Receive shipments of materials, examine deliveries to ensure accurate quantities, quality, and specifications
  • Facilitating flow of materials and supplies between Whitehorse and the Coffee Camp.
  • Perform clerical duties, and maintaining accurate records and files of activities
  • Order or purchase office supplies, coordinate office maintenance as required, oversee external storage facilities
  • Liaise with buyers to initiate the vendor setup in SAP, provide sole source justification to Supply Chain
  • Support project team in creating the purchase requisition in SAP
  • Validate vendors\xe2\x80\x99 invoices with the project team and create Goods Receipts or Service Entry Sheet in SAP
  • Assist the project team in completing the Non Order Invoice request form when it\xe2\x80\x99s applicable
  • Assist with GR/IR account reconciliation and follow up on outstanding items
  • Liaise with vendors, Supply Chain, Accounts Payable and Finance Representatives
  • Assist with other projects and administrative duties as required
Training & Experience Requirements
  • Possession of valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
  • Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes, excellent communication skills
  • Strong time management skills and a commitment to meeting corporate deadlines and receiving critical orders on time
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new software as needed
  • Ability to demonstrate professionalism and confidentiality
  • Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders and coordinate across organizational lines
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of SAP or other ERP would be an asset
  • Must be physically fit and able to lift, pull and push loads of up to 40 lbs repetitively
