We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Logistics Coordinator to oversee and optimize our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing transportation, warehouse distribution, and inventory control, ensuring seamless coordination across all logistics functions.
Responsibilities
Coordinate transportation management, including freight, shipping & receiving, and dispatching activities.
Coordinate and track inbound and outbound shipments within Canada and to the United States
Manage cross-border shipments, including customs documentation and compliance with Canada-U.S. trade regulations
Work with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams
Prepare and review shipping documents (BOLs, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, etc.)
Ensure compliance with customs, import/export, and transportation regulations
Monitor shipment status, resolve delays, and communicate updates to stakeholders
Ensure compliance with safety standards related to materials handling equipment like forklifts and mechanical systems.
Requirements
Experience coordinating domestic and cross-border (Canada-U.S.) shipments
Knowledge of customs procedures, import/export documentation, and trade compliance
Forklift certification
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficiency with logistics software and Microsoft Office
Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain coordination
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
