QRC Logistics is a proudly owned family transportation business that started out as a small 1200 square foot courier company doing rush pickups and deliveries using cars and vans all around the GTA. Cartage division with 5-ton trucks all with tailgates to handle LTL

Trailer division to handle FL freight

Overnight division for less time sensitive deliveries

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the efficient coordination of transportation and retail deliveries within our supply chain network. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in logistics or transportation management, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and verify all shipping-related documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs), Proofs of Delivery (PODs), customs forms, and invoices. Ensure all load and shipment documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with company and customer requirements. Communicate daily with customers, carriers, and warehouse teams to coordinate deliveries, resolve issues, and provide updates. Support warehouse operations as needed, including scanning, tracking, and inventory coordination. Manage and track claims and discrepancies for key retail and transportation accounts. Enter and maintain accurate order information in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Use customer portals to upload documentation, generate tracking numbers, monitor delivery statuses, and send alerts. Provide timely feedback to management regarding any delivery delays, customer concerns, or operational issues. Perform additional administrative or operational tasks as assigned to support the logistics team.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation coordination (retail sector preferred). Proficiency in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). TruckMate software experience is considered a strong asset. Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under pressure. Strong understanding of transportation operations, including carrier communication and documentation. Familiarity with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations is an asset. Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
