Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the supply chain and ensuring efficient logistics operations. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a keen understanding of logistics processes. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating shipping and receiving activities, managing materials, and optimizing supply chain performance.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee all aspects of logistics operations, including sourcing and procurement of materials. Manage shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely delivery of goods. Implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency within the logistics framework. Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments and optimize routes. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing and terms. Monitor inventory levels and assist with demand planning to meet production needs. Conduct regular assessments of logistics systems to identify areas for improvement. Operate forklifts as needed to facilitate the movement of materials within the warehouse.

Requirements

Proven experience in logistics coordination or a related field. Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices. Familiarity with shipping, receiving, and materials management processes. Experience with transportation management systems is preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: $34,124.15-$61,873.85 per year
