Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage the flow of materials and finished products for our aluminum composite panel operations. This role is responsible for scheduling truck shipments for outbound deliveries and inbound material pickups, maintaining production inventory, and overseeing logistics compliance for both domestic and cross-border shipments.

Key Responsibilities:



Schedule and coordinate truck shipments for delivery of aluminum composite panels to job sites. Arrange and track pickups of raw materials and supplies required for production. Plan logistics in coordination with the production and project management teams to meet fabrication and installation timelines. Maintain accurate inventory control of aluminum sheet stock, extrusions, fasteners, and related components. Prepare and manage all shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, and customs paperwork. Coordinate cross-border shipments between Canada and the U.S., ensuring compliance with all import/export regulations. Work with customs brokers and carriers to manage border clearance processes. Ensure compliance with CBSA's CARM (CBSA Assessment and Revenue Management) requirements, including account setup, payment processes, and documentation accuracy. Identify opportunities to optimize freight efficiency and reduce transportation costs. Maintain organized records of all shipments, deliveries, and inventory movements.

Qualifications:



Minimum 2-3 years of experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, or inventory management, ideally within a manufacturing or construction materials environment. Strong understanding of cross-border shipping procedures and documentation requirements. Familiarity with CARM processes and customs broker coordination. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and logistics or inventory management software. Effective communication and problem-solving abilities. Forklift experience or certification is an asset. Knowledge of aluminum composite panels or architectural cladding systems is preferred but not required.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
