Purpose Of the Position The Warehouse Coordinator will oversee the coordination and scheduling of all inbound and outbound shipments in a meat production facility. The coordinator will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations. The coordinator will work closely with the production and sales teams to ensure efficient logistics operations and customer satisfaction. Accountabilities and Detailed Activity: Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Collaborate with production and sales teams to ensure accurate inventory levels, and forecast demand for timely delivery.
  • Arrange for transportation of products to customers and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations related to product handling, transportation, and delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipping, and receiving.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and customers to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Monitor and optimize transportation costs and efficiencies.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline logistics operations.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent;
  • Minimum of 1 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a warehouse/logistics coordination role, preferably in a meat production facility.
  • Experience with transportation management systems and inventory management software.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to food handling, transportation, and delivery.

Physical Demands: This position may require lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods of time.
Work Environment: The Warehouse Coordinator will work in a meat production facility and may be exposed to cold temperatures and wet environments.
