Logistics Coordinator A day in the life of a Logistics Coordinator The Logistics Coordinator is a key position in our organization, ensuring that all shipments, coming and going, are properly managed and reviewed daily to keep our production on time and our customers happy. From raw material to finished goods, our logistics coordinator is central in managing our inventory. What skills are needed for success? The best individual for this position is highly detail oriented and understands the time sensitive nature of this role. Working in a team environment, they manage the receiving of all items that come in through the shop door, ensuring accurate documentation is completed in our ERP as well as completing any necessary paperwork required. Occasionally the incumbent will drive on company business, running errands, deliveries etc. as needed. They are capable and confident in the follow areas:

• Coordinating customer/vendor shipments and providing shipping updates to the shop floor.
• Managing parts at outside processes and ensuring they are back by their due dates.
• Can perform accurate cycle counts as well as year end cycle counts.
• Has a keen ability to track raw and finished materials inventory
• Willing to step into the shipping role as needed, helping get finished parts out the door.
• Posses exemplary communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• They never hesitate to ask questions when needed and follow up with co-workers when necessary.
• Are willing to work overtime as needed.

• You have exceptional communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• You have 5+ years of experience in a shipping/receiving role.
• Experience with US shipments is considered an asset.
• You can rock a computer and are well versed in MS Office among other applications.
• You are organized and can prioritize while working in a fast-paced environment.
• You are extremely detail oriented.
• You can manage multiple tasks while balancing time sensitive matters.
• Capable of lifting up to 48 lbs
• BONUS: posses forklift license
