The Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in managing the inbound and outbound flow of goods within our organization. The successful candidate will work independently and cross-functionally with departments such as Supply Chain, Quality, and Order Fulfillment to ensure the accurate, efficient, and cost-effective movement of materials. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for monitoring deliveries, ensuring system accuracy, and identifying issues before they impact operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:



Coordinate and verify all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders and shipping documentation Perform quality checks on incoming deliveries; notify the Quality team of any discrepancies or damaged goods Ensure timely and accurate entry of all deliveries into the ERP system, flagging any inconsistencies or errors Take ownership of all item arrivals, proactively monitoring delivery timelines and notifying relevant departments of delays Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to ensure all incoming goods are handled efficiently and meet operational needs Work closely with Order Fulfillment to align outbound shipments with customer deadlines and production targets Manage bookings and scheduling for incoming and outgoing freight; track and control shipping-related documentation Monitor and report on shipping costs; regularly review courier/freight pricing and identify opportunities for cost savings Maintain clear communication with all departments regarding shipment statuses and any changes that may affect operations Uphold standardized practices for inventory transfers, controlled material handling, and documentation requirements Organize and maintain shipping/receiving areas and compound, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and readiness for daily operations Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements within the logistics function Attend cross-functional meetings and provide updates on logistical matters as needed Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Expectations:



2+ years of experience in a shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination role Experience operating a forklift (license preferred) Strong knowledge of ERP systems and accurate data entry practices Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments Grade 12 or equivalent required; post-secondary education in supply chain or logistics is an asset Demonstrates initiative, accountability, and a solution-oriented mindset First Aid certification considered an asset

Work Conditions



Monday to Friday, 8 hour shifts during the day Overtime available as needed Frequently lift a minimum of 30 lb. without assistance
