The Role




As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be a key link in our supply chain and operations, overseeing inbound and outbound shipments, inventory integrity, and supporting yard operation. You will help ensure our operations run smoothly, safely, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities



Perform shipping and receiving duties under varying weather conditions (much of work is outdoors). Prepare shipments (packaging, labeling, documentation such as bills of lading, shipping manifests), and coordinate carrier pickups/deliveries. Receive incoming goods, verify accuracy (counts, product, quality), inspect for damage, and report discrepancies. Enter and process inventory receipts into Microsoft Business Central. Maintain warehouse and yard organization to optimize space, flow, and inventory visibility. Conduct regular cycle counts, assist with annual inventory audits, and reconcile discrepancies. Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.). Certification is a plus (or willingness to get certified). Uphold safety, housekeeping, and maintenance standards in warehouse and yard environments. Assist with continuous improvement initiatives - streamlining logistics, reducing waste, enhancing workflows.

Required Qualifications



High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary training in logistics, operations, or supply chain is a plus). Prior experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse operations or logistics. Comfortable doing physically demanding work; able to lift 50 lbs. (or more) repeatedly and handle warehouse tasks. Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), and inventory / warehouse management systems. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow processes. Good communication skills (verbal, written) and ability to interact with internal teams, carriers, and vendors. Self-motivated, reliable, punctual, ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license an asset (for coordinating deliveries / yard movements).

Preferred (but not required):



Forklift / warehouse equipment certification Experience with ERP / inventory systems (e.g. Business Central or similar) Experience in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment Basic understanding of shipping / freight / carrier logistics

Hours: Full-time, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Location: Penticton, BC Environment: Industrial manufacturing environment, shop floor and office.
